Yes. All initial consultations and project estimates are free. We come on-site, walk the project with you, and put together honest numbers before you commit to anything.
It depends on scope. A single-room remodel runs 2–4 weeks. A bathroom gut runs 3–5 weeks. A full kitchen remodel runs 5–10 weeks. A whole-home gut renovation typically runs 3–6 months. We give you a real schedule before we start.
Yes — we are a fully licensed and insured Massachusetts general contractor. We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance for every project.
Yes. We file with the town for any permits the project requires and coordinate inspections directly with the building department.
We use a milestone-based payment schedule tied to project progress — a deposit at signing, then payments as work hits agreed milestones. No upfront full payment, ever.
Older homes always have surprises. When something unexpected shows up — rotted framing, knob-and-tube wiring, hidden water damage — we tell you what we found, price it transparently, and give you options before doing the work.
For most projects we work with you directly on layout, finishes and material selections. For larger projects (additions, complex renovations) we either work with your architect or bring one in.
Yes — most of our projects are done with the homeowner living in place. We seal off work areas, clean up daily, and stage the project so you've still got a working kitchen and bath the whole time.
